Exporting Playlists

In addition to saving your playlists in AudioCD MP3 Studio 2000's own format you can now also export them as ASCII, HTML and RTF files for documentation, making labels and editing in other programs -- or even in web documents.

To export your playlist select Export Playlist in the File menu.

This opens the standard Windows Save As dialog box.

Save as type: You can then select the format you want to use to save the export file in this field. You can choose between plain text (ASCII), RTF and HTML.

Extensions: The file extensions .txt, .rtf (Rich Text Format) and .html are added automatically. If you have already saved the playlist as an .mcd file (see Saving and Loading Playlists) the extension will be added to the .mcd extension. For example, mytracklist.mcd would be exported as mytracklist.mcd.txt, mytracklist.mcd.rtf and mytracklist.mcd.html. If you want to prevent this you must edit the file name manually in the File name: field before saving.

If you haven't saved the playlist as an .mcd file before exporting you just need to enter the name and select the file type. The extension will be added automatically.
